Phei Yee Yap, Clinical Nutritionist (BHSc)
After working in the banking industry for nearly four years, Phei decided to follow her passion for health and nutrition, studying a Bachelor Degree in Health Science in Nutritional & Dietetic Medicine. As a clinical nutritionist, Phei approaches disease prevention and management through a multidimensional lens. She takes into account the whole individual- body, mind, spirit & emotions to help you achieve optimal health and wellness. She applies the latest in evidence-based nutritional medicine and scientific research to ensure a holistic, individualised and patient centred approach.
Phei has a special interest in gastrointestinal and women’s health due to personal experiences in combating gut and menstrual health. With a combination of dietary changes and lifestyle modifications, Phei aims to empower her clients towards achieving long-term positive health changes in their life. When necessary, she also prescribes high-quality supplements along dietary and lifestyle changes to aid the body in restoring balance. She will guide you step-by-step through the dietary and lifestyle modification that works for you. While some of these changes may seem small, the ripple effect of small things is extraordinary.
As a clinical nutritionist, Phei also understands that there is a need for a multidisciplinary approach, within the conventional and within the complementary health field. She endeavours to collaborate with your primary practitioners, such as your general practitioner or your allied health practitioners for optimal health and wellbeing.
Phei hopes to encourage you to question what you put in and on your body, to recognise when the body is expressing something not quite right, tunes to its needs and take control.
Phei is deeply passionate about supporting you to your most vibrant and balanced self.
